Hi, I'm happy that you are here. I am a whiskey freak and passionate about alcohol. My "side job" is a chemical engineer. I started this blog to learn new things, summarize what I learned and share my knowledge with reader (Sharing is caring!). My blog will be probably about chemistry and science of alcohol, but I will also write about my daily staff.
I am originally from Japan, have worked for German company in Leverkusen, Germany, and will be working for American pharmaceutical company in Kobe, Japan. I am now back in my country. Although my work involves more engineering jobs and not like a pure science, my passion belongs to the science , especially that of alcohol. I love travelling and have been to around 40 countries. I like to go to the place where other people are less likely to go - like Kazakhstan or Ukraine. I enjoy meeting some local alcohol and people. Baking a bread, cooking or socializing are also of my interest. Home brewing is the thing I want to try from this spring, after my move to Kobe.
Last but not the least, my motto is "gefährlich leben"(German), which is translated into "Live dangerously". This phrase is from a German philosopher, Nietzsche. I like reading the book of Nietzsche, for the fact that he never gives us a clear answer and interpreting his words is difficult but interesting like a quiz.
